In order to facilitate the access of any person to educational materials, research results and documents of projects funded by the European Union, the Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science launched last June 3 platform "Scientix." This platform, as an interactive portal will allow the dissemination and exchange of news, expertise and best practices in science education throughout the European Union.
Georghe According to the Commissioner Marie-Quinn, the philosophy of the platform can be summarized in three words: search, find, and act. All information located in the portal can now be found in six community languages, including English. Also, with the aim of teaching to optimize the use of the platform and to promote networking among the scientific community, it is proposed to hold several public events among which the Conference "Scientix", scheduled for days 6,7 and 8 May 2011.
